Why we started JunkRoundup

JunkRoundup started in 2026 with a truck, a work ethic, and a frustration: getting junk hauled shouldn't require a mystery in-home estimate, a four-hour arrival window, and a final bill that grew on the way to the curb. We thought there was a simpler, straighter way to do it — send photos, get the real price upfront, and have friendly people show up when they said they would.

So that's the whole business model. No showing up to "take a look" and pressure-quote you in your driveway. No fees that materialize after the truck is loaded. You see the number before we ever knock, and if the pile matches the photos, the number doesn't move.

We're new — and we act like it

We won't pretend to be a 20-year operation with thousands of reviews, because we're not — and around here we'd rather be honest than impressive. Being new means every single job matters to us. Every customer is a reputation we're building, one haul at a time. That's not a weakness; it's the best customer-service guarantee there is.

What we promise on every job

• We show up when we say. You pick the window; we honor it. If anything shifts, you hear from us first.
• We quote it straight. The photo quote is the all-in price — labor, loading, hauling, disposal, and cleanup.
• We leave it cleaner. Every haul ends with a sweep-up. If you're not happy with how we left it, tell us and we'll make it right.

Where your stuff actually goes

"Junk" is usually a mix: some genuine trash, some perfectly good things that just need a new home. We sort every load with that in mind. Usable furniture, appliances, and household goods go to Austin-area charities first; metal, cardboard, and electronics are routed to recyclers where facilities accept them; and only what's left makes the landfill trip. It costs us a little more time, and it's worth it.
